FaceTime is video calling, similar to Skype but without the lagging, using a Wi-Fi connection. This feature is a benefit for users who communicate using sign language or lip reading.<\/p>\n<p>The iPad offers <em>Closed Captioning<\/em> just like those as seen on television. The iPad supports the playback of closed captions, as well as open captions and subtitling. The captioning appears on the screen.<\/p>\n<p>The iPad is compatible with numerous headsets, including those with <em>Bluetooth audio<\/em> technology.<\/p>\n<p>The user has the option to adjust the audio on the iPad to <em>mono audio<\/em>. They are able to route both audio channels into both earbuds, enabling users to hear both channels in each ear. This is a beneficial feature for individuals with hearing loss in on ear.
