Dell is one of the largest technologic corporations in the world in the IT industry founded at United State. They are mainly known as selling and supporting personal computers, servers, and software. In recent years, Dell has an increase of customer base. They are also known for their innovations in supply chain management. Due to a good supply chain management, it helps the cooperation to cut down the cost and lead to be more competitive in the market of the industry.

Due to the good supply chain management, it helps Dell to have a faster, more efficiency and low cost (don’t need to keep stock) between vendors and customers. However it’s difficult to manage because all vendors are not in one place, which instead located all over the world. If any vendor can’t supply on time, whole chain will be ruined. Therefore having a sound relationship such as on-time payment and mutual trust with the vendors is very important in this chain. Let Dell be an example, they have come up with a really good supply chain management. They have a good system and calculate every steps and components precisely. However, Dell will be harmful if they cannot manage well.
