Telephone companies overcharged their phone bills “accidentally”

According to Natural News.com there are ““80 percent of U.S. businesses are overcharged on their phone bills while telecom companies reap profits from “accidental” billing errors”” Phone companies understood the situation that most people will trust the company and will not check daily.

Due to the lack of awareness of finding out errors on their phone bills, companies were charged a huge amount of extra money in a long term basic. I personally disagree on how they are cheating their customers.

According to the study of organization behavior for a company to be success, building up a good relationship with customer is one of the most important thing. Getting trust and having a good reputation from customer are the critical points to build up a good relationship.

If I am the customer, I will always select a company that can be trusted instead a company that will “accidentally” charge me extra. Also, companies itself should also build up a good communication system within different departments to reduce the amount of errors occurred.

In long-term circumstances it will also harm the company itself due to the expose of their unethical actions to their customer.
