Hello everyone! My name is Jaisleen and I am a second-year arts student. So far my major is undeclared however I do plan on majoring in Political science because I love learning about the way political structures and organizations impact us. I took this course to fulfil my literature requirement and blindly thought we would be reading ubiquitous romance novels like Romeo and Juliet. However, after watching the first lecture video I am eager to gain insight into the realm of the “Romance world”. The act of romanticizing seems like it has been around forever and I am excited to see how “romance” changes and is depicted in different languages and cultures.<\/p>\n
Moreover, I have a small Maltese poodle named Poochi who is my whole world! Last year in April he was attacked very badly by a pitbull and spent 7 days in the ICU, we weren’t sure he was gonna make it. Luckily, he survived but his recovery wasn’t easy because he was on bed rest for 3 months. However, I am happy to say he’s fully recovered and is living his best life! Last year was very tough for my dog, me and my family but I’m glad to be starting the new year with a positive mindset and a healthy pup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
