I am a 4th-year computer science major with an interest in cloud computing and software engineering. I already hold a degree in biology from the University of Toronto and I decided to pursue computer science because I always enjoyed problem-solving and being creative. I first encountered computer science when I first took a bioinformatics course and I immediately fell in love with the subject. The infinite possibilities and power computers can produce were fascinating. I still remember the accomplishment and joy when I first built a calculator using Python! Currently, I have 12 months of internship experience from SAP and 4 months from Amazon as a software developer. To my surprise, both internships required a significant amount of writing which was used to evaluate my work and allowed me to gain a greater appreciation for technical writing skills. After graduating, I am planning to continue working as a software developer and strive to be a well-rounded engineer with proficient communication and writing skills.
