On the\u00a0<a title=\"Teaching Standards\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/jameschenteacheredeportfolio\/bctf-standards\/\">Teaching Standards<\/a> page, you will see how I have applied my learning in the program to meet each of the professional <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bcteacherregulation.ca\/Standards\/StandardsDevelopment.aspx\">standards of teaching<\/a> outlined by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bcteacherregulation.ca\/\">British Columbia&#8217;s Ministry of Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><strong>My Teaching Philosophy<\/strong><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Teachers today have a greater responsibility to prepare students to better adapt to an ever changing norm. Even though my role as a teacher may not have a tremendous impact on the society as a whole, I hope that my students will be able to gain the skills they need to make an impact in the society as they progress through the technology-integrated\u00a0lessons that I love to design. When students leave my class I would like them to not only be able to achieve success in\u00a0all the things they do,\u00a0but to also challenge and improve upon their own selves through reflection and action.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please feel free to leave me any comments or suggestions you might have towards my approach to education.
