Hello, and welcome to Jamie Taylor’s Roaming and Ramblings!

This site is focused on sharing my experiences as a new teacher, who has recently graduated from the Bachelor of Education program at University of British Columbia, with ideas of incorporating arts education into a wide range of subjects and curriculum.

I am a theatre artist in Vancouver, and am interested in bringing arts and performance into the classroom.  This online portfolio shares some personal information about myself as a new teacher, local Vancouver performing artist, as well as my teaching philosophy, inquiry, pedagogy, and blog posts from my 10-week practicum at Highlands Elementary School, and 3-week practicum at Danson Primary School in Southeast London, UK.
