Hello! My name is Janelle and I am happy to welcome you to my e-portfolio.
I am a graduate of the Dental Hygiene Degree Entry to Practice Program at The University of British Columbia (UBC). I have been lucky to grow up in this beautiful province my entire life and have come to appreciate the many diverse opportunities and populations within it.
This profession has been my passion ever since I was in middle school. I have grown to learn more and more about the profession and the many opportunities to improve the quality of life of the individuals I encounter.
From my time at UBC I have been fortunate to develop my professional competencies through a variety of experience, which I will share with you in this e-portfolio.
Here you will find the self-reflection and growing values from many inspiring and eye-opening experiences. I will showcase where I have built upon my own knowledge and how experiences have impacted my practice and philosophy of care.
