“I used the webcam in my MacBook Pro. I didn’t even use an external microphone–but I did close my office door to block out some white noise. And I did it directly into Youtube, via its Flash webcam support. To get the audio I lowered the input level to reduce static.
If you want to try it, log on to youtube and add a video via webcam.
Right-click (or Command/Control-click) on the video capture screen
Click the microphone icon and select your internal microphone
Drag the volume level towards the left (fewer bars)
Click the camera icon and make sure your webcam is selected
Close the window
