Now that you have a working theory, have one of your group members create a sine or cosine curve on their graphing calculator.\u00a0 See if the other members can come up with the equation for the curve.\u00a0 Take turns being the curve “creator” and the curve “finder”.\u00a0 While doing this, consider the following questions:<\/p>\n

  1. How well is your model\/formula working out?\u00a0 Does it need altering or refining?<\/li>\n
  2. Does anything seem similar or different to how transformations work with other graphs?<\/li>\n
  3. Have you found any times where two of your group members find different equations that result in the same curve?\u00a0 Is it possible to have more than one right answer?\u00a0 Hypothesize why or why not this is possible.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
