{"id":30,"date":"2023-06-19T15:01:06","date_gmt":"2023-06-19T22:01:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/jcharshc\/?page_id=30"},"modified":"2023-06-19T15:50:30","modified_gmt":"2023-06-19T22:50:30","slug":"submissions-soumissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/jcharshc\/submissions-soumissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Submissions \/ Soumissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Journal of the Canadian Historical Association Author Guidelines <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission&#8217;s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font (preferably Garamond) with 11-point footnotes; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jcha-rshc.ca\/index.php\/jcha\/about\/submissions\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Click here for author guidelines<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your interest in submitting to the <em>Journal of the Canadian Historical Association<\/em>. The <em>JCHA <\/em>is published twice a year by the Canadian Historical Association with financial assistance from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. It publishes papers in all fields of history, in French and in English, and representing all approaches to the discipline. The editors are especially interested in papers that will contribute to the wider understanding of the history of Canada, and to the dissemination of the work by historians with connections to Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/jcha-rshc.ca\/index.php\/jcha\/login?source=%2Findex.php%2Fjcha%2Fsubmission%2Fwizard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Make a submission<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directive aux auteur.e.s, Revue de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Historique du Canada <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre du processus de soumission, les auteur.e.s sont tenu\u00b7e\u00b7s de s\u2019assurer de la conformit\u00e9 de leurs articles avec tous les crit\u00e8res suivants.
