My home university is Renmin University of China, which is located in Beijing. I study English Literature as my major, and\u00a0I&#8217;m also interested in finance, business, philosophy, and media.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from study, I&#8217;m interested in British Parliamentary debate. Coming from a mandarin-speaking country, debating in English is a challenge but I&#8217;m glad to see gradual improvement after I come to UBC. I&#8217;m also fond of photography and hiking. I love taking and editing photos of the nature, people, and culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was raised in Shanghai, China, and moved to Beijing for my university education.
