PVC Bow -Worth the hours!

Another great Instructables project! PVC Bows! I love archery, but there is always the cost if you want to enter into a new hobby/community. The PVC cost 15$ for ten feet (enough to make 2 full bows) but I havn’t received the heating bill for this month yet;). The PVC bow I made is at least 35 lb draw weight which can be heightened or lessened depending on the initial curves created after the riser. All you need is a heat gun, two flat surfaces (I used the floor and a piece of wood) 5 feet of 1″ pipe, ensure that it is 45 WA (4.5 mm wall thickness) because I used the 25WA on my first attempt and I ended up with a floppy piece of squished PVC. I loved making this bow, I can’t wait to test it out at the next 3D archery shoot. One thing to mention is to make sure the room is well ventilated and wear gloves, or in my case, oven mits.
