My regrets for my trip in Europe

Having the opportunity to travel in Europe has been incredible! It’s my first time to travel without my family. As well, it’s my first time to solely rely on myself for everything, from making decisions of where to go, packing my luggage to my spending expenditures. However, like every travel trip I’ve done, there are ALWAYS a few regrets. Some regrets tend to be things that I can do next time when I’m nearby but some regrets are truly regrets for life. They are the real regrets for me.
My regrets
-didn’t ride a bike in Lyon
-didn’t eat at salmon shop and KFC
-didn’t give everyone a hug except pegah Elora and rina
-didn’t forcefully encourage us to take a last group picture in front of brasserie George
-didn’t get to explore more of London

However, my biggest regret is not attending the VĂ©lo trip with my classmates in Lyon. Even though it wasn’t obligatory to attend, it was definitely an activity at the top of my list to do in Lyon. I love riding bikes in general. This field trip was special because it was a bike ride along the Rhone River with the group and a picnic afterwards. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend because my travel buddy and I planned to go to Paris that long weekend. As well, my travel buddy doesn’t know how to ride a bike and we didn’t want a day trip to Paris for her birthday since we would be extremely tired from it. This is definitely my biggest regret for the whole Europe trip. This experience can not be replaced and fulfilled in the future. I can’t go back in time to go on this field trip. Thus, it will remain as a regret forever. Even though I won’t be able to change this regret, I think I’ll plan a bike ride in Vancouver with the group! This way, my travel buddy can bike on a tandem and I can somewhat have a somewhat similar experience!
