SOUTH VANCOUVER NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE
South Vancouver Neighbourhood House is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs for preteens, youth, family and senior resources and programs. SVNH provides programs at a low cost or for free. I started as a young adult volunteer tutor for high school students at John Oliver Secondary. Presently, as the Young Adult Settlement Counsellor for South Vancouver Neighbourhood
House (SVNH), my duties include pre-employment programs, one-to-one meetings regarding government applications, and resources regarding post secondary institutions.
RICHER CLINIC
BC Children’s Hospital – RICHER Clinic serves residents within the Downtown Eastside. Nurse practitioners spearhead the RICHER Clinic to be able to provide accessible health care resources for the residents and families living within the Downtown Eastside. My role as the receptionist was to organize appointments and provide care to preteens while their parents are in their appointment.
