Dear Fellow Classmates,
I am writing with regards to being part of your writing team as a writer. With my academic background, and experience in writing substantial and concise papers, I believe I can be a strong asset to your writing team and am looking forward to working with you.
I am in my last year of my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology which requires strong critical thinking and analytical thinking when it comes to writing papers. Throughout my degree I have had opportunities to challenge thoughts and ideologies through my papers and being able to clearly argue my point was a key skill I have gained through my studies. In Sociology, we look to study a broad range of topics from the economy, family, crime, etc. and put those topics under a lens to and look for characteristics from a societal point of view. This has given me the skills to closely analyze material and produce a clear and concise argument through my writing.
Beyond just my writing skills, I am a good team player and believe that strong teamwork requires that not only we work together but also get to know each other on a more personal and friendly level. I currently work as a supervisor for a before and after school program and teamwork and team cohesion is one of my main duties. I am confident that I could bring a friendly environment that allows everyone in the team to get to know each other better so that we can all find success in this course.
