Hi, it’s me!
I’m Jinyu, a PhD student in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Department of Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences of the University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus). Before starting my PhD program at UBCO in May 2021, I graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China in 2020 with my MSc, and in 2016 with BSc, respectively.
Research Interests
My research interest is how climate and forest cumulatively affect hydrological processes. I had benefited from the wide gamut of XJTU’s syllabi content of my undergraduate study, which helped me gain comprehensive knowledge in the core area of environmental science. Then my interests focused on eco-hydrological processes during master’s study. Now for my PhD study, I will try to analyze the relative contributions of climate and forest to hydrological extremes.
