As a visual artist I’m greatly inspired by the natural world. My admiration for nature and interest in conservation carry over into my artwork, which I see as a reflection of that appreciation. I build off of the natural shapes and colors I observe around me, manipulating them and adapting them to fit my vision of the world. This often involves depictions of land and skyscapes in brilliant colors and varying textures. Lately, my work has been greatly influence by the landscapes around Vancouver, specifically the mountains.

I also take inspiration from impressionist painters; I studied impressionist style at the Accademia D’Arte Firenze in Florence, Italy in 2015 and aspects of the style carry over into my modern-style, somewhat surreal work.
