With consistent use of particular emojis to represent individual characters or settings, and toying with the original film’s use of disruptive chronological order by setting the plot in a chronological pathway, he may have made it easier to decode the film. He is right to point out the ‘graphical restrictions’ of this assignment.

I appreciate that the took the time to consider how to lay out the emoji ‘sentences’. Left to right, then to the next column. He was ahead of the curve in predicting that an English reading user would see them as columns, and the spacing of his two columns felt almost like the columns of a newspaper.

I am not someone who watches a lot of films, (as a father of a three and nine year olds, it seems to be mostly Disney and Pixar these days), so I don’t imagine that I’ve either seen the film or, if I did, it would likely be a challenge to recall. I am also curious and enjoy answers to things I don’t understand, (magic or illusionists confound me and elicit a degree of discomfort), so I couldn’t help but run the image and prompt through ChatGPT4o.
