Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW) decided in 2014 to open a new plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Production will begin in 2019 and the 3-Series Sedan will be built there. Today, the 3-series sold in the U.S. are built in Germany and South Africa, but when the Mexican plant opens South African output will cease. BMW has invested $1 Billion in the new plant. Everyone has heard of The Pharma Bro, Martin Shkreli. This man is known as being the epitome of corporate greed. Shkreli was the CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, a company which has recently purchased a drug called Daraprim, which is “used to treat rare but serious parasitic infections in aids patients”.
