Sneak peak at the back of the Faraday Future concept car

Faraday Future is a car manufacturer that wants to reinvent the car. They currently are projected to manufacture a car that could become a major competitor for Tesla, king of the electric car industry. Not only are they projected to do that, but they also claim to be completely reinventing how we as users view the car. They are striving to “launch with fully-electric vehicles that will offer smart and seamless connectivity to the outside world.”

I am excited for the launch of this car to see what its points of difference and points of parity are between them and other electric car manufacturers. The potential behind this company is huge with its top level team of management and design. I am excited for the concept release of this car in 45 days from now.

A big question arises from this new electric car competitor and that is, will this affect Tesla’s sales and possibly see to a rise of a new king of electric cars? Tesla has mostly gone without a competitor in its luxury electric car market. How will it react when faced with a competitor which could potentially re-invent cars in general? The CEO was quoted stating that their business model would be similar to that of a smart phone. Revenue will only begin to flow in when the user downloads apps and software for the car.

This is an exciting advancement in the world of sustainability. With so many factors playing a role, it will be interesting to see how smoothly Faraday Future can enter into the luxury electric car market.
