Hello world!

Welcome to my blog for the course HIST482!

My name is Sharon Mo, a third-year (going to the fourth year in this September) geography student at UBC specializing in human geography with a minor in Asian Studies. I am interested in the history and culture of China especially the Cantonese culture. Therefore, I joined in the exchange program and went to Sze Yap district in Guangdong province of China to learn about the stories of overseas Chinese.

HIST482 is an amazing field course that explores the heritage of Chinese migration. The course provides a great opportunity and information for me to know another part of the world. We are going to discover historical and cultural urban landscapes in Hoiping, Hong Kong as well as Vancouver with CUHK students.
