Goooooooogle lol

Hey everyone!

I think there must be a lot of Apple fans here. But in terms of the future market, will you support Google or Apple? Recently, through business writing class and my own research, I found google has more potential market value then we usually think.

The first reason is that Google has the largest amount of potential customers in the smartphone market. According to the statistics from the Change Wave Research in 2009, the ratio of respondents who had preferred to buy Google Android mobile phones (Android Operating System  mobile phones) during the months of September to December, boosted incredibly from 6% to 21%. By contrast, the percentage of future iPhone Operating Systems (iOS) buyers decreased from 32% to 28% and the figure from Blackberry RIM operating system customers climbed only by 1%. According to NPD Group, a leading North American market research company, unit sales for Android OS smartphones ranked first among all smartphone OS handsets sold in the United States during the second quarter of 2010, at 33%. Meanwhile, iOS was only ranked third at 22%. These figures imply that Google’s image in customers’ mind is much more valuable than in other brands. Therefore, it is not impossible to believe a larger amount of Apple smartphone fans will appear in the market in the near future. In addition, Google opens a wider door to the market than the iOS because of Google’s flexible and user friendly Android Operating System. The Apple mobile Operating System can only run on the iPhone, iTouch and iPad tablet. However, unlike Apple’s rigid platform, the Google Android operating system is able to reside within various devices, such as tablets and TVs. In that case, a rising number of programming developers will dedicate themselves to Google. From a survey conducted by Mountain View-based Appcelerator, there are 72 percent of developers who believe that Google will be in charge of the new device world, while only 25 percent believe that Apple iOS will dominate the market. While, approximately 56% of developers preferred Google Android’s long-term outlook as a stage to make money, only 37% chose Apple’s operating system. As a result, Google opens the doors to other related devices and attracts a wide range of talents to gather and make joint efforts. This can contribute positively to further Google’s development and success.

Furthermore, the market share of the Google Company is quite optimistic in the future. Currently Google enjoys a 14.9% market share but in the next few years, according to Piper Jaffray, a U.S. leading international institutional securities firm, Google is likely to capture at least 50% of the smartphone market share.

soooo, maybe you should think about investing on Google stock ?

It seems a good deal, isnt? lol
