LinkedIn Profile
Creating a LinkedIn profile has proven to be one of the best ways to create and build connections with old and potential employers for work. I always knew it was essential to create a LinkedIn profile, but I never treated LinkedIn as much of a priority before this assignment. This assignment helped me understand the significance of presenting yourself in a professional manner. Being clear, detailed, and candid while also being concise and straight-forward within a LinkedIn profile proved to be best for the assignment. Choosing your audience, interests, and tailoring your own personal LinkedIn profile has not only helped my research process for my Formal Report, but it will benefit my professional career for years to come.
Formal Report Proposal and Outline
Finding an issue within your own personal experiences to analyze and potentially solve is not an easy task to begin with. I immediately thought about my most recent personal experiences to see how I can make a difference within my community. Fortunately, I was able to commit myself to an issue that affects myself as well as a large number of my peers. Formulating a proposal helped me think deep into potential reasons for this issue as well as possible solutions. Creating survey and interview questions to gain primary data assisted me in narrowing down my focus behind my analysis of the issue. Finally, creating an outline as well as a progress report helped me pace and organize my thoughts and ideas of my report.
Peer Review
As expected from my fellow team members, every proposal featured very significant issues that my peer had a great amount of passion for. It is however, very easy to made bias statements in these proposals. I am not completely absolved of making bias statements myself. It was important to review and give critical feedback regarding unbiased material. Reviewing my peers’ proposals influenced me to stay unbiased and truthful with my formal report.
