I am contacting you in response to your proposal to form a writing team. After reading your application, it is clear that you are hard-working and willing to help your writing team succeed this semester. Your past and current experience in various writing fields has impressed me and I believe we would work well together and that our strengths would benefit each other.
So far it is just you and me in as team members. As said earlier, I reached out to one prospective team member, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she is already assigned to a team. I am still looking at other potential team members to fill the remaining positions. If we can make a concerted effort to find a member each, I’m sure we will be in reputable standing.
