Google Spicing Up Mobile Advertising

Up in the next coming month Google has announced that they are changing the game with their new mobile advertisement updates. They are making it easier for mobile advertisers to run their campaigns in apps and the mobile web. New features of Google’s advertisement changes include a new mobile light box engagement ad that resizes and fits any size across any device. The biggest change however for Google is the addition of Flash to HTML5 conversion tool for all of the new advertisements. Because all Apple products do not support flash player at all and that limits the amount of views a mobile advertisement because a large majority of phone users use Apple’s iPhone.

Relating to the topics we learned in class, this change that Google is making in their mobile advertising will change the amount of users being shown the advertisement. This will make posting advertisements on the net more efficient and will increase Google’s advertisement use. There are also changes to the way the advertisement looks on the mobile and that will increase user satisfaction and increase the odds of them actually clicking the advertisement. Overall this new innovation by Google will definitely make an impact on mobile advertising for the future.   Link is embedded.
