China’s Start in E-Commerce

So with the recent hype in Alibaba going public a few weeks ago, this is only the beginning in China’s full time movement for E-Commerce. For most people who don’t know what type of business Alibaba is in, they own Taibao.net which is China’s version of Amazon and EBay combined.  WeChat, the WhatsApp messanger for China is also launching new E-commerce options for users to set up online stores on the platform to sell goods directly. WeChat is planning to handle all logistics and payment options making the application very easily to use. This makes it a big step for online advertising as well as E-commerce

 

With these new advance websites and application making e-commerce easier than ever, China has raised their internet marketing strategy drastically. The WeChat application specifically allows social network advertising with 400 million users in China. There are also many other advancement for China as Taobao.net is allowing vacation bookings and small businesses are also catering towards the e-commerce platforms. More and more users will use the web to advertise their business and the economy will surely bloom in China.
