EESCGS poster symposium

Above, is my poster submission for the earth science graduate society poster symposium. It takes a look at how El Niño and La Niña effect the winter climate at 156 ski resorts in western North America for the period of 1901 to 2015. The results outlined in the poster indicate that El Niño and La Niña have a opposite effects on snowfall, and average temperature when comparing the Pacific Northwest, to the southern California / four corner states region.

A project I am working on this summer, will look at the Pacific North America Pattern and it’s effect on climate at the same 156 resorts. Results will be posted here.
