About Me
Hello. My name is Kate. I’m from Korea. (My Korean name is Darae Kang)
I am an university student in interior design at Hong Ik university. My major is Interior design and my minor is graphic design so I have a flexible ability between interior and graphic. I have gained diverse skills and knowledge about those 2 areas such as computer design tool skills and hand drawing skill. I am good at handling some design computer programs such as photoshop and illustrator. Also I like drawing and coloring.
I am very friendly person so I can communicate with others easily. This is my strong point. But I have a difficulty forcing others to work or do something when group work is needed and I have to say something on the project. Sometimes we need to have a strong voice on what we want to say. For me this is very difficult because I don’t want to be in an arguement. It is bad for others and me to make better results.
I am interested in branding as a designer. After graduating I am expecting to get a job in this industry. I have one more year left to graduate. After returning to Korea I will try to get better with what I learned in Vancouver and study my major and minor to be able to professional in the workplace. Before going back to Korea I want to enjoy Vancouver as much as I can.
