The future of shopping

People love to shop, and another new way to do it won’t hurt. Cisco technologies is in the event of introducing to the world a new way to shop which is going to be attracting the attention of shoppers and retailers all over the world. The 3D, real-time virtual imaging of clothing being tried on by a virtual self as a mirror image is incredible. The new technology may start  revolution and change the way people shop in stores forever.

For customers, this saves them time and gives them more options and flexibility; they can search and enjoy trying more products using their virtual self. However, for every up there is a downside – and in this case, the shopper must sacrifice the feel of the clothes; texture and actual size fitting will be somewhat of a guess.

It is something like this that will let a retailer break free from the pack and take the lead in retail business – the beginning of a shopping revolution. This new and interesting experience will bound to attract huge amounts of attention and create buzz that will spread like widefire. A strong competitive advantage (in promotion) as a leader in technology which will have competiting retailers looking to adopt it as well. The cost and risk is high for implementing the new technology but the returns are considerable.
