Hi, I’m Kathy. Born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver, now studying Geography: Environment and Sustainability at the University of British of Columbia. While spending most of my summers traveling abroad, the images of skyscrapers and fast building developments sparked my interest in geography. Alongside skyscrapers being constructed everyday, the trend in green building architecture has begun to surge in Asia. I am interested in shaping our built environment through design and construction, through sustainable and decarbonized methods. With our ever-growing globalization, sustainable architecture can help minimize the negative environmental impacts in developmental spaces.
Besides my tedious school life, I dabble in the visual arts, photography, as well always finding new music to listen to.
I started this blog as a platform to communicate my ideas and record upon on coursework.
