In the post (https://blogs.ubc.ca/maximum/2014/11/11/mba-diary-can-business-school-teach-leadership/) Dingchang Jia discussed the leadership course in MBA school.Indeed,it is a popular trend now that businessman join the part-time or full-time MBA to be professional administrator to run the company more efficiently. Due to the majority MBA students working at least the executive level, therefore leadership is an important subject to learn during MBA.

In Dingchang Jia’s post, he doubted that whether leadership and other abilityies can be taught in school. He argued that for a school no matter how good it is, it always has a lot limitations so it is not that necessary to learn leadership in school. The school may also not be suitable to teach the leadership.A man or woman with true ability can always make his or her way out by grasping the chance met without attending the MBA.

I agree with him to some extent. It is a common sense that we can not learn everything in school and some abilities like leadership need to be cultivated in reality during teamwork. However,to the other side, most of the pre-requirements for MBA include working experience. Therefore, it ensures that the students have already gained some reality leadership experience therefore they can sharpen and theorize the leadership ability in school. Furthermore,  another main purpose to study MBA is to expand social network,by doing the teamwork for MBA course ,one can both improving his or her leadership and be acquainted with others. So in this way, learning leadership in MBA  is quite necessary.
