My name is Katherine. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Behavioural Neuroscience in UBC. Currently I am pursing a second degree in Computer Science. I am fascinated by the growing interaction between Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence. In particular I am interested in learning about Artificial Neural Networks because it mimics the neurobiological architecture and connectivity of brain neurons and synapses. A degree in Computer Science will provide the fundamental support and opportunity to explore biomimetic technology.

I am very fortunate to be working as an Enrolment Services Project Assistant and Residence Advisor during the 2021- 2022 academic term. I am passionate about building healthy communities and relationships in my workspaces. I recognize the importance of strong written communication in my different roles. I believe that ENGL 301 will be an excellent opportunity to enhance my professional writing skills.
