As a result of 10 plus years in the business world, I have come to realize that above average excel skills to today are what typing skills were 15-20 years ago. A proficiency in Excel can go a long way to making a worker more efficient and saving mental anguish from the redundancy of performing the same tasks over and over. I teach my students basic skills such as data entry, formatting, formulas, to more advanced skills such as charts, vlookups and macros.
