Swetha Kola with a rich variety of experience in both Corporate and NGO sectors is currently pursuing MBA at the Sauder School of Business. With a degree in Arts & Humanities from India, she started her career with Google and then dived headlong into the NGO sector while freelancing with PR and media firms.
At the time of quitting Google, Swetha was working with the Product quality Operations team liaising with engineers to help develop spam-fighting tools; and overseeing the training and performance of the Outsourced vendor team. Working with the NGO, Make A Difference; being one of the only 5 full-time employees managing a 2000 volunteer-strong organisation working with underprivileged children in 23 cities in India, she was in-charge of managing Operations, Training, PR and fundraising.
Now at the Robert H. Lee graduate School, Swetha is excited and busy keeping up with the teachings and absorbing all experiences and hopes to be impeccably effective in management roles in future.
