Get over it."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While reading my classmate Jeffrey Blake&#8217;s blog I came across a specific post that caught my attention.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey&#8217;s post <a title=\"Jeffrey's post\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/jblake2\/2010\/10\/24\/gays-make-a-stand\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>Gays Make a Stand<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 links to an website called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fckh8.com\">www.fckh8.com<\/a>\u00a0which is a campaign against Prop 8 ( The state of California&#8217;s ban on gay marriage:\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.&#8221; &#8211; <em>Wikipedia<\/em>\u00a0).<\/p>\n<p>This website sells t shirts for $13.00, with $5.00 from each t shirt being donated to the fight against Prop 8, and the hope for equality in marriage.<\/p>\n<p>Also, included on the website is a controversial (yet, in my opinion effective) video mocking those who are intolerant of homosexuality.<\/p>\n<p>Although Jeffrey&#8217;s post was targeted towards highlighting the profit that the website creator is making, I still think it&#8217;s great that my classmates are using their blogs to bring up such importance issues of ignorance that should no longer be tolerated in today&#8217;s so called &#8220;civilized society&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"il_fi\" src=\"http:\/\/theexpiredmeter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/peace-sign.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"79\" height=\"94\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While reading my classmate Jeffrey Blake&#8217;s blog I came across a specific post that caught my attention.
