My name is Kristy, a registered dental hygienist from southern Ontario. I have been practicing dental hygiene for over 10 years and continue to enjoy the profession. In September 2021, I enrolled at the University of British Columbia to obtain my Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. As a practicing dental hygienist, I entered the degree completion program as a third-year student, completing my studies part-time online while working full-time. Through the process I have gained a deeper appreciation for the profession and opportunities that are available after completing my undergraduate degree. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends and spend most of my time outdoors.
