Jin Guo recently earned her MSc degree in the Ryan group, where she led investigation of biosynthetic enzymes\u00a0 through a combination of biochemical, X-ray crystallographic and site-directed mutagenesis approaches. She then worked as a lab manager and an independent researcher at the Ryan lab, where she managed laboratory personnel and oversaw operational tasks needed for a functional lab environment. Besides spending time at the bench, she enjoys hiking, swimming and doing yoga.<\/p>\n
