Hi everyone!

I apologize for posting so late, I had some mix-ups in registering.

My name is Kristopher Tharris and I am a Learning Design Officer for the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre. I really enjoy education and learning theory, and am excited to learn more about the basics of educational technology. This is my fifth course in the MET program.

I am very interested in how adults learn, especially second-language learners. Looking forward to getting to know more people and proud to be a student of UBC (especially after the recent ‘worldly rankings’ posted in the globe). I am a husband, student, an Apple computer fan, an inline skater, a dog walker, and awful-horror-movie lover (although some I can’t stomach).
