g) Conclusion
I was interested in seeing how the discussion would go on Technology and Spirituality. To be honest, this group was one of my top two choices and had I not been placed in another group, I would have loved to be a part of this group. I consider myself to be spiritual but I rarely thought about how technology and spirituality are related before this class and my time in ETEC531. Now, I do see a connection but I still can’t put my finger on it. It seems more of an indirect connection, like how the times of worship in churches are now different because of color projectors and advanced sound equipment. But maybe it is more of a direct connection than I think. It was nice to hear everyone’s beliefs, but one thing that stood out to me that was pointed out by a classmate is that values and beliefs are not necessarily the same thing.
I think that this week was a nice conclusion to the course and I feel that the DLG11 did a great job!
