Hi Fiona,

I would like to invite you to be a part of my writing team for our technical writing course.

I believe our mind utilizes similar principles to operate. For example, you said you learn through decomposing subject matters into smaller units for you to fully understand. Similar to you, I appreciate a principle that is very similar to yours – first principle of physics. I learn through decomposing knowledge into atomic units where each piece of fact is proven true individually then I piece them together afterwards.

In addition, we both have worked in a team environment for software development thus again I believe this is another aspect where we will complement each other.

I hope this email finds you well and looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Lansi,

I am here to inform you that I would like to invite you as a part of my writing team.

Having read your letter of application, I realized that we share a lot of common grounds. As your BCS program fellow student, I also had a previous degree however it was in statistics and economics. I firmly believe your communication both verbal and written exceeds my expectations as you have demonstrated that by organizing the hackathon you mentioned in your letter. In addition,  your experience working as a software developer definitely allows us to collaborate better as we all know how to collaborate both collectively and individually.

Again, I would really appreciate you as a part of my team.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Hi Sandy,

Your impressive work and writing experience make me believe that we would form a great writing team this semester.

As you mentioned in your letter that like me, you are also doing your studies in computer science therefore i believe we share a lot of the same qualities which can be very helpful when it comes to problem solving and analyzing material. Again I would appreciate you to be a member of my team.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Best,

Kyo Tang
