My name is Laura Clark- I am a passionate elementary school teacher, as well as a UBC student working toward a diploma in special education.

I came to the field of education after several years working in the non-profit sector in the field of addiction and mental health. This work experience helped me to realize how important the developmental years of life are, and inspired me to shift directions and start a new career working with children. I believe in the power of education to effect real change in our society, and I am passionate about being part of the change I hope to see in our world.
