Subject: LinkedIn Networking Strategies

Hello fellow writing team members,

As requested, I researched effective strategies for LinkedIn networking, and summarize them below.

Highlights include:

• For networking strategies, specifying the number of desired connections and preferred audience is very useful.
• Searching people/companies on LinkedIn works, but like any social media, LinkedIn has joinable groups to easily meet the desired people
• Creating LinkedIn posts increases presence on the platform. Sharing funny/inspirational career stories, or giving tips are good topics for these posts.
• Ensuring a desired connection knows about your common interests, goals, or unique skills increases your desirability.
• Making messages to new people memorable and engaging can be highly persuasive. Unspecific messages can feel insincere.
• Mentioning a mutual contact in messages to people builds trust and leverages your existing network.
