The conversation will cover a range of theoretical, methodological, and practical questions. For instance, how can we compare the features of valenced experiences, such as pleasure and pain, across species? And do potential differences between species affect practice? For example, should invasive research on pigs face a higher justificatory bar than invasive research on shrimp?
