New grad student orientation schedule and event registration + work learn positions

ORIENTATION:

The new graduate student orientation schedule http://orientation.grad.ubc.ca/schedules/august-2013/ is now up-to-date with all registration information for the GSS events being offered through orientation week.  Their events include campus and museum tours, the boat cruise, disorientation party and more.  Current graduate students as well as family members of incoming students are welcome to attend many of these events.

WORK LEARN POSITIONS:

Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies has openings for two work learn positions for the 2013/14 academic year and current graduate students are encouraged to apply. The positions are:

The Centre for Student Involvement & Careers is also seeking a graduate student for the following Work Learn Position

GPS WORKSHOPS:

Graduate Pathways to Success workshops return beginning Wednesday, Sept 4th with “Awards and Scholarships”.   A growing list of fall sessions may be found on the GPS site https://www.grad.ubc.ca/current-students/gps-graduate-pathways-success/gps-workshops-events

Registration for all GPS workshops opens on Mondays, the week prior to the workshop.
