As you may be aware, Dean Murray Isman will be retiring after June of this year. Last year, a President’s Advisory Committee was established for the selection of a new Dean. In July, an advertisement was widely distributed through print and web-based media, seeking applications for the position.

As of January 7, 2014, the President’s Advisory Committee has extended invitations for interviews to following individuals for the position of Dean, Faculty of Land and Food Systems.

A number of public forums took place to give each stakeholder group an opportunity to meet each candidate, ask questions, and provide feedback to the Advisory Committee. The Committee will then make a recommendation to the Provost on which candidate they feel is the best fit.
