If you care about sexual assault at UBC, volunteer NOW to be an Active Bystander Workshop Facilitator. 6 volunteers needed by May 29. Email info@gss.ubc.ca

The Active Bystander Program is a new initiative lead by your Graduate Student Society in partnership with UBC. The program aims to train graduate students as facilitators who will deliver Active Bystander Workshops to fellow graduate students on how they can intervene and stop sexual assault on campus. The full two-day training will be provided with breakfast and lunch.

Benefits to Workshop Facilitators:

  • Improve your communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills

It’s time to get out there! Your GSS is working hard behind the scenes and organizing summer excursions and social events, such as a beach volleyball outing, a hike at a local mountain, a BBQ, and possibly a game night.
