Innovate UK grant

The University of Reading has been awarded an Innovate UK grant to carry out a project about sugar and fat reduction in biscuits. The consortium consist of three partners: Cargill, United Biscuits and the University of Reading. They are looking to recruit a PDRA here where the role will require someone with a range of skills (ideally including microscopy, rheology and experience in food texture measurements) and the interest and ability to develop other skills. Hopefully the post will start on 1st October. The position is for 23 months at 80% FTE (ie 4 days per week). Please, find attached the job description.
