Danone Institute Award

Standard

The Danone Institute of Canada’s mission is to promote the sharing of scientific knowledge in nutrition, not only between researchers and health care professionals, but also among the general public. In keeping with this objective, this year we are offering an award for the most effective communication of nutrition science for the general public. The award aims to facilitate the mainstream sharing of credible research on current topics in nutrition.

Eligibility requirements

  • The article written for this competition must meet the following guidelines:
    – Adhere to the general theme : current topics in nutrition.
    – Be no more than two pages in length (maximum of 6,000 characters).
    – Be aimed at a large audience with no scientific knowledge.
    – Be based on credible scientific literature cited in the article.
    – Be written in English (with an optional French version).
    – Be accompanied by a summary of no more than 150 words.
    – Be accompanied by the author’s CV

This is a written competition for undergrads, graduate, post-docs, dietetic interns or anyone who is a trainee in the field of nutrition with a $2000 reward. The deadline in May 9th.
