Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

Standard

We are looking at holding preliminary 3MT “heats” for LFS during the LFS Grad Student Conference on March 3rd.

For those unfamiliar with 3MT, it is an academic competition that assists current graduate students with fostering effective presentation and communication skills. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience.

If this is something that you would be interested in doing please let us know ASAP!

For more information, please contact use by replying to this email, or by visting their website (http://3mt.grad.ubc.ca).

Also just a reminder, LFS Grad Student Conference abstracts are due Sunday, Feb 7 at midnight!

Thanks,

John
